Type specimen: AMNH 8949a, a partial skull (broken skull with posterior rostrum, zygomatic arch, P2-M3, and occluded posterior part of mandible with M1-M3). Its type locality is Vista, which is in a Whitneyan terrestrial horizon in the White River Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of United States (3: Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
