Type specimen: KU V45781, a mandible. Its type locality is Saw Rock Canyon (Lower), which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: ground dwelling granivore-browser

Distribution: found only at Saw Rock Canyon (Lower)
