Sister taxon: Ourayia hopsoni

Type specimen: AMNH 1899, a mandible (jaw containing two premolars and two molars). Its type locality is White River Pocket, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (8: Texas, Utah, Wyoming collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
