Type specimens:

  • Nothokemas floridanus: FSGS V5247, a maxilla (part of right maxilla with P2-M3). Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.
  • Paratylopus grandis: MCZ 3636, a mandible (incomplete right mandible with p3-m3.).
