Sister taxon: Nebraskomys rexroadensis

Type specimen: UMMP 25610, a mandible (right jaw carrying m1). Its type locality is Sand Draw Quarry, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in Nebraska.

• Blancan of United States (3: Kansas, Nebraska collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
