Type specimen: AMNH 92008, a mandible (right mandible with alveoli for I1 C P2 and the crowns of P3-4 M1). Its type locality is Saddle, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of United States (2: Colorado, Wyoming collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
