Type specimen: SMNH P1900.1, a tooth (right [lower] M2). Its type locality is Lac Pelletier Lower Fauna, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Cypress Hills Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Lac Pelletier Lower Fauna
