Type specimen: C. M. No. 3022, a partial skeleton (fragments of the left lower jaw with P/1 and M/1 in place, fragment of P/1? and the greater portion of the lower canine of the same side; the distal end of the). Its type locality is Myton Pocket, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.

Distribution: found only at Myton Pocket
