Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: U.S.N.M. No. 18371, a mandible (almost complete right mandible with M2 and posterior halves of M1 and M3; fragment of left mandible with mandibular condyle; left upper incisor). Its type locality is Boysen Reservoir (48FR65), which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (7: Colorado, Wyoming collections)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
