Type specimen: UW 26491, a mandible (fragment of a right dentary with associated p4, m2-3, and fragments of px and m1). Its type locality is Ferris Formation (UW V-91003), which is in a Puercan terrestrial horizon in the Ferris Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
