Type specimen: UALVP 25000, a maxilla (incomplete right maxilla containing M2 and alveoli for M1 and M3). Its type locality is Cochrane 2, which is in a Ti1 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution: found only at Cochrane 2
