Type specimen: No. HC552, a mandible (left lower jaw). Its type locality is Chadronia Pocket, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial siltstone in the Chadron Formation of Nebraska.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution: found only at Chadronia Pocket
