Type specimen: AMNH 77429, a tooth (isolated p4). Its type locality is Clambank Hollow Quarry, which is in a Campanian/Campanian fine channel fill claystone in the Judith River Formation of Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore-frugivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (5: Alberta collections), United States (6: Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming)

Total: 11 collections each including a single occurrence
