Sister taxa: Bourbonnella fourrieri, Bourbonnella guilloti, Bourbonnella hirsuta, Bourbonnella jocelynae
Type specimen: MHNA S 451a,b, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Saint-François pit, Montceau-les-Mines, which is in a Stephanian B deltaic siltstone in the Great Seams Formation of France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Saint-François pit, Montceau-les-Mines
