Type specimen: USNM 159411. Its type locality is USGS Paleozoic loc. M1111, Last Chance Range, which is in a Wenlock carbonate dolomite in the Hidden Valley Dolomite Formation of California.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at USGS Paleozoic loc. M1111, Last Chance Range
