Type specimen: UA 21001, a mandible (incomplete left dentary having incisor, p4, m1-3, two small postincisor teeth and an alveolus anterior to p4). Its type locality is Saxonella Locality, which is in a Ti3 lacustrine siltstone/shale in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (6: Alberta collections)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
