  • Ellipsodon grangeri: KU 7833, a mandible. Its type locality is Big Pocket, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial siltstone in the Nacimiento Formation of New Mexico.
  • Ellipsodon witkoi: AMNH 811a, a maxilla.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of United States (9: New Mexico, Utah collections)
