Type specimen: F:AM 25431, a mandible (complete right ramus). Its type locality is Wood's Canyon Quarry, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Runningwater Formation of Nebraska.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of United States (3: Nebraska collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
