Type specimen: GMNH-PV-678, a partial skeleton (nearly complete associated but disarticulated skeleton). Its type locality is Usui River, which is in a Tortonian marine horizon in the Haraichi Formation of Japan.

Ecology: volant folivore-granivore

Distribution: found only at Usui River
