Type specimen: IVPP V 23877, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is DQS 72, Wuliangshitai, Gongshanwan, which is in a Lopingian terrestrial horizon in the Naobaogou Formation of China.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at DQS 72, Wuliangshitai, Gongshanwan
