Sister taxon: Tomiaplus minimus
Type specimen: PIN 4887/72, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Babii Kamen (PIN collection 4887), which is in a Griesbachian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Maltsevo Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Babii Kamen (PIN collection 4887)
