Type specimen: UMMP 29169, a mandible (right ramus and part of the left maxillary). Its type locality is Rexroad KU Locality 3, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: arboreal frugivore-carnivore

Distribution:

• Blancan of United States (5: California, Kansas, Texas, Washington collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
