Type specimen: USNM 16621, a mandible (fragment of right dentary with m2 and m3). Its type locality is South Table Mountain, which is in a Puercan terrestrial horizon in Colorado.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (2: Saskatchewan collections), United States (4: Colorado, Montana, Wyoming)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
