  • Astrohippus stockii: CIT 3576, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Yepomera, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Mexico.
  • Astrohippus albidens: FO 830, a mandible (fragmentary right lower jaw with p2-m3 in place ).

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution:

• Hemphillian of Mexico (13 collections), United States (8: Florida, New Mexico, Texas)
