Type specimen: A.M. No. 1903, a partial skull (anterior portion of skull with part of the upper dentition, and the right ramus of the mandible with all teeth except P4). Its type locality is Wagonhound Canyon (Uinta B2), which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:
