Sister taxon: Alwoodia magna

Type specimen: SDSM 59155, a tooth (isolated M1 or M2). Its type locality is Monroe Creek (SDSM V-592), which is in a Monroecreekian terrestrial horizon in the Monroe Creek Formation of South Dakota.

• Harrisonian of United States (2: Nebraska collections)

• Oligocene of United States (4: South Dakota)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
