Type specimen: IVPP V13057, a skull (nearly complete skull except tip of rostrum with partial left and right canine alveoli, roots of left P2-3, left P4-M1, and right P2-M1). Its type locality is IVPP locality DH9910, which is in a Miocene terrestrial mudstone in the Tiejianggou Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at IVPP locality DH9910
