Type specimen: PAt 5946a, a pygidium. Its type locality is Hina Limestone near Hina, which is in a Visean reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Hina Limestone Formation of Japan.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Hina Limestone near Hina
