Sister taxa: Belliscala meta, Belliscala rockensis, Belliscala suciense
Type specimen: LACMIP 12994. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 24246, Oak Run, which is in a Santonian marine sandstone in the Redding Formation of California.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (3: California collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
