Sister taxa: Mitromorpha carpenteri, Mitromorpha crassaspera, Mitromorpha dormitor, Mitromorpha jacksonensis, Mitromorpha (Mitrolumna) danica
Type specimen: Its type locality is UCMP loc672, Parsons Peak, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at UCMP loc. 672, Parsons Peak
