Type specimen: SMP VP-1500, a partial skull (parietal, squamosal fragments, fused jugal-epijugal, other unidentified cranial fragments). Its type locality is Denver's Blowout, SMP Loc. 281, which is in a Campanian terrestrial mudstone in the Kirtland Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Denver's Blowout, SMP Loc. 281
