Type specimen: Its type locality is Zone J. Abandoned Wagner quarry just west of the Norfolk and Western RR Yards, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone in the Delaware Limestone Formation of Ohio.

Distribution: found only at Zone J. Abandoned Wagner quarry just west of the Norfolk and Western RR Yards
