Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: MPEF-PV 3440, a partial skeleton (skull, presacral vertebrae, forelimbs). Its type locality is 1.6  km northeast of Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine limestone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at 1.6  km northeast of Cerro Cóndor
