Sister taxon: Quinetia misonnei
Type specimen: NDGS 1691, a maxilla (P4-M3). Its type locality is Dickinson Member (Savanna), which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of North Dakota.
Distribution: found only at Dickinson Member (Savanna)
