Type specimen: USNM 135097A, a shell. Its type locality is Port Antonio, Eocene, which is in a Priabonian marine limestone in the White Limestone Formation of Jamaica.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at Port Antonio, Eocene
