Type specimen: UNSM 61002, a set of vertebrae (A trunk vertebra lacking transverse processes). Its type locality is Norden Bridge Quarry, which is in a Barstovian channel sandstone in the Valentine Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution:
• Miocene of United States (11: Nebraska, South Dakota collections)
Total: 11 collections each including a single occurrence
