Sister taxa: Callorhinchus alfordi, Callorhinchus phillipsi
Type specimen: ZPAL P.9/1, a tooth. Its type locality is ZPAL 8, which is in a Ypresian prodelta sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Antarctica (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
