Sister taxa: Cristomylus cifellii, Cristomylus leptostemma, Cristomylus nelsoni

Type specimen: MNA V10139, a tooth. Its type locality is MNA 1067, Bulldog Bench, which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian crevasse splay mudstone in the Naturita Formation of Utah.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (2: Utah collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
