Type specimen: MCNC-82-72V, a limb element (right femur). Its type locality is 0.5 km west of Quebrada (Quebrado) Picacho, which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at 0.5 km west of Quebrada (Quebrado) Picacho
