Sister taxa: Tarchia kielanae, Tarchia tumanovae

Type specimen: PIN 3142/250, a skeleton (a skull, mandibles, and postcranial material). Its type locality is Khermin Tsav, Upper White Beds [SMPE] (PIN coll. 3142), which is in a Maastrichtian eolian horizon in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Khermin Tsav, Upper White Beds [SMPE] (PIN coll. 3142)
