Type specimen: MLP 14-I-10-20, a tooth (a lower left molar (m2 or m3) partially worn). Its type locality is IAA 1/90, which is in a Ypresian estuary/bay horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.

Distribution: found only at IAA 1/90
