Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: IVPP V14562, a partial skeleton (An incomplete individual with a majority of skull roof and cheek bones, left pterygoid tooth-plate, dislocated gular bones, pectoral girdles and part of squamat). Its type locality is Sinodipterus-type locality, which is in an Eifelian marine horizon in the Qujing Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Sinodipterus-type locality
