Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: IVPP V18116, a set of limb elements (a distal right tibiotarsus in articulation with a complete right foot, with tarsometatarsus and pedal phalanges in articulation). Its type locality is Sanshuiornis-type locality, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Huayong Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Sanshuiornis-type locality
