Type specimen: AMNH 6352, a dermal scale. Its type locality is Ergilin Dzo [AMNH], which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-herbivore

Distribution: found only at Ergilin Dzo [AMNH]
