Sister taxon: Parophisaurus pawneensis
Type specimen: USNM 498662 (left dentary). Its type locality is Fisher/Sullivan Site, which is in a Wasatchian marine horizon in the Nanjemoy Formation of Virginia.
Ecology: insectivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Fisher/Sullivan Site
