Type specimen: SGDS.857, a mandible. Its type locality is Freeman Quarry (lower fish beds), St. George, which is in a Hettangian lacustrine horizon in the Moenave Formation of Utah.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Freeman Quarry (lower fish beds), St. George
