Type specimen: LWL-MFN P 64047, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Rhaeticosaurus-type locality, which is in a Rhaetian marine mudstone in the Exter Formation of Germany.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Rhaeticosaurus-type locality
