Type specimen: NMT RB48, a partial skeleton (disassociated and mostly disarticulated skeleton, including partial right pterygoid, nearly complete right dentary, right splenial, right surangular, isolated t). Its type locality is locality Z41 (Ndatira / Njalila), which is in an Anisian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Manda Beds Formation of Tanzania.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at locality Z41 (Ndatira / Njalila)
