Its type locality is Caja de Pandora, which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian lacustrine siltstone/sandstone in the Cañadón Calcáreo Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Caja de Pandora
