Type specimen: JPM-0008, a skeleton (A nearly complete skeleton with skull and lower jaws preserved). Its type locality is Xiaosanjiazi Village, Lamadong, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Xiaosanjiazi Village, Lamadong
